hbp movie pics
There are so many pictures here that I'm really looking forward to in the movie. Romilda! Cormac! Blaise Zabini! Luna and Neville (but that's everytime they come on screen, really). The Slughorn party, and Sanguini looks awesome. Draco is looking a lot more intense and scared, and I can't wait to see Felton's acting there. Rupert's acting, I'm hoping, will be better this film, as I love Ron and him in this book, but Rupert seems to just pull scared faces the whole time, which is annoying. Emma and Dan... well, let's just say that I'm watching it for the other things from the book come to life. They are not why. Gambon as Dumbledore - I think he can portray the side of Dumbledore that is to come, and I think it's quite strange/ironic that Richard Griffiths played the man as he seemed, and Gambon will play him as he really was. That unintentional change of actors sort of suits the progression of us, and Harry, finding out about the true Dumbledore.

I was quite anxious about the actors describing this film as a romantic comedy, or something like that. Parts of the book definitely were, and I know they don't film the whole book, so I was (still am) nervous that they're going to choose scenes that are silly and fluffy, when the parts of the book that I was most interested in was the Tom Riddle and Dumbledore ones, the Snape and Occlumency ones, the Horcrux journey, the glimpses into the Death Eaters way of life, Draco and the Sectumsempra curse, the secrets and the dark moments. I'm kind of holding my breath until I see how it goes.
